A Heartbroken Dog Owner Fights to Reclaim His Beloved Siberian Huskies

 Staten Island, NY – On July 29, 2022, the serene grounds of the Siberian Husky Camp of America were shattered by a sudden and brutal assault led by the NYPD and the NYC Sheriff’s Office. In a moment that would forever change the lives of countless families, the peace of the camp was pierced by the haunting howls of the huskies, echoing across the one-acre sanctuary nestled in the northern part of Staten Island.

As the camp owner and a group of models revisited that harrowing day during a recent memorial event, memories of chaos flooded back. The police stormed the camp, orchestrating a meticulously constructed narrative of animal abuse. In the aftermath, 24 purebred Siberian Huskies were unjustly seized and taken to the ASPCA headquarters in Manhattan and other undisclosed locations, leaving their heartbroken owner in a state of shock and despair.

The brutal actions against the camp and its beloved inhabitants sparked outrage across the nation. As the police encircled the site, a photographer documented the scene, perpetuating a false portrayal of rescue amidst the palpable distress of animals and their families. The husky desperately sought to protect her puppies, while the father fought to escape, only to be captured by law enforcement. The owner was wrongfully arrested after returning home from a medical appointment, as the ASPCA orchestrated a disturbing spectacle of chaos under the guise of saving animals.

In the two years since that fateful day, the once vibrant Siberian Husky Camp has transformed into a desolate construction storage site, a stark reminder of the devastation inflicted upon these innocent creatures. Flyers adorned with the faces of the huskies hang in the vicinity, echoing the cries of a desperate owner yearning for the return of his beloved dogs.

The family known as the "Wolves of Manhattan" gathered at a somber memorial by the Hudson River to honor the memory of ZEUS, a spirited 7-year-old Siberian Husky tragically lost to the ASPCA shortly after a judge’s ill-fated authorization for animal forfeiture. His passing left an indelible mark on the camp and the community, as ZEUS had been the inspiration behind a program that trained service dogs at the camp. His family embraced one another in grief, holding tightly to his picture, their love a bittersweet testament to his memory.

Victor, the heartbroken owner, struggles to visit the site where his beloved dogs once thrived. “It’s too difficult to be on Staten Island and see all of this,” he confides. Despite the overwhelming sorrow, he continues to train a new set of purebred Siberian Huskies, hoping to find solace in the love he shares with these new companions.

Meanwhile, ETA, one of the few Siberian Huskies recovered from the group, frolics with her sister Athena, blissfully unaware of the fate that befell their parents, Apollo and Anastasia, during the catastrophic raid. The tragic events that unfolded that day have left an entire community in mourning.

The heartbreaking saga of the Siberian Husky Camp is not merely a tale of loss; it is a testament to the resilience of a devoted dog owner. Victor has fervently advocated for the return of his dogs, appealing directly to New York Governor Kathy Hochul in hopes of reclaiming the remaining huskies and restoring the love that was so cruelly taken from him.

As the second anniversary of this tragedy approaches, Victor remains steadfast in his mission, fueled by love and an unwavering determination to see justice served for the huskies who suffered needlessly. His voice, representing countless others who have lost their furry companions, continues to rise, echoing the call for accountability and compassion in the treatment of these majestic animals.
